Evil appears with new names and in different guises.
One of these names is: SANKT VELTEN, a rarely used synonym for the devil.
SANKT VELTEN is the musical alter ego of Arnd, axeman of the German thrash metal band DARKNESS.
On the first album, He appears as songwriter, guitarist and singer.
SANKT VELTEN is a multi-european project with participants from Germany, Croatia and Switzerland.

Eldar Ibrahimovic (Piper) is a Croatian drummer who played with many different metal acts,
but is most known for being a part of War-Head, Kymera, Symbolic and Gothic. He played the drums
and produced the debut album of SANKT VELTEN, "The discreet Charm of Evil".
In the current line-up, he is responsible for oiling up the clockworks at Gates of Hell
and will help SANKT VELTEN spread the charm of evil in its percussive form.
Catharina Dämonica sang the choirs on the debut album "The discreet Charm of Evil".
With her extensive repertoire of cruel chants and with her own vocal ideas she has contributed
to the disturbing aesthetics of the work. Catharina has sung in several bands of varying genres,
but feels particularly at home in heavy metal, hard and alternative rock. In the current lineup,
she joins SANKT VELTEN in the chorus in bringing subtle evil to the stages of the world.

"The discreet Charm of Evil" is the first album of SANKT VELTEN, released in November 2019. In this recording a wide range of musical influences is processed.
SANKT VELTEN appears as songwriter, singer, guitarist and on bass-guitar. Drums were played and recorded by Eldar "Piper" Ibrahimovic at AP Road Studios in Romania. Piper also mixed the album at his Studio Armageddon. Vocals and choir were recorded at SC - Sound Recording in Krefeld, Germany. The choir was sung by Catharina Demonica and SANKT VELTEN, the vocal - recordings were engineered by Holger Schreiber, who also did the Mastering. Guitars and Bass - guitar were recorded by SANKT VELTEN at his Soundforge at Brimstone Manor, located at the contemplative south bank of Lake Gehenna.
